The fit and finish on the Tracker seemed sub par to me. The only other reason was the Tracker had a beam of 102", to wide for my spot on the side of the house.

Lunds are riveted, while Crestliners and Trackers are welded, if that's important to you. But it's not really clear that one is always better than the other. Lund owners say that welds aren't flexible and can crack, and welded boat owners say that rivets can loosen and leak. I believe there's some truth to both sides.

Tracker seems to be more a “southern” boat so Crestliner and Lunds rule the roost in MN. Owned two Lund's 16' side console & a 20' Newport CC, they were great boat's, but are riveted construction, which inherently can lead to problems. I replaced about 20 rivets on the Newport.
